I decided to buy some metallic and normal paper and start experimenting with cutting shapes out and trying to fit them together, I also found some triangular wooden shapes from the workshop at Uni and glued them together in a very random shape.

I really enjoyed how well the metallic paper worked with a very strange shape it looked almost like it was from outer space, futuristic.

I enjoyed the random alignment and realised I liked working with solid primary colours rather than blended, very minimal and very towards the De Stijil movement, I started painting onto wood which was a great material to use as i could use masking tape to create very straight lines and the material would rip after taking the masking tape off I also really liked the chunkiness of the wood and It felt more like a sculpture, below shows some of the pieces I created.
