After a lot of initial paintings onto wood and even using a stretched scarf given to me by my nanna on a piece of wood as shown below;

I was given a tutorial and the idea of doing a large scale piece on the wall was thrown around and I really liked the idea, the wall was bright white which would work well with the primary colours, I am currently looking at Piet Mondrian and Theo Van Doesburg as big inspirations, but also Sol Lewitt and Kandinsky, I decided to give it a go and recreated one of my smaller paintings as a large wall painting in my studio space and I was really glad with how it turned out. (as shown below)

I am also going to look at mosaics and wall paintings next, also I have been given some artists as suggestions to look at for example; Gunter Forg, Daniel Burner and one of the Tutors at my university called Lothar Goetz who's work is very similar to mine and very very inspirational at the moment in time for what I am looking at and interested in.
