Furniture!?

Whilst continuing with my wood paintings (not using the colour black now) I had a tutorial in which we talked about what I could make with the many painted wooden pieces I had, I suggested that Id like to make furniture after talking about how much i like Bauhaus furniture and Kandinsky's paintings, which is hopefully the next stage for my work; making a table. Whether or not it will be functional yet is undecided, but below shoes some of the paintings on wood I have done which I might use for my furniture.

I think this is a good step forward for me after being stuck in a rut of creating these paintings but wanting to make something bigger and more sculptural with them, Its all about creating and trying things out which might not work, but hopefully I will be making something more functional and nicer to look at from all angles. Still without metaphor but with both function and form perhaps.
