One of the exhibitions Ive recently visited is the 'Enchanted parks' in Saltwell Park in Gateshead, not only does it appear as a fun and magical place for young children to come and see 'faeries' fly through the trees in the dark of evening, it also showcases some amazing light work from various local artists.

The idea of the contrast of light and dark alone is enough for an artists to play with, to me shape and colour of lighting would be a large factor however many artists used motion and a large area of the park to create some stories, for example small lights were flashing around pretending to be fires, telling a story of the famous novel "Midsomer Nights dream', I took a few photos of my favourite pieces mainly because it included some sort of very noticeable strong shapes and colour and geometry in a few cases.

Below are some examples of the work I had seen - Artists unknown.
