Putting off furniture for bigger pieces

Although my initial plan was to start creating and designing my furniture from the random pieces of wood I had painted, I realised how much I had enjoyed the freedom and scale of the wall pieces I had painted and decided to carry on with this idea before expanding onto woodwork.

I never have a plan of where I am going to draw the triangles which is one of the aspects I highly enjoy about these style of paintings I've been doing however when I started the middle piece I took a photo and converted it into greyscale and really enjoyed the shades and how 3D it made the work look which is who I went on to paint the rest into random slots of grey, black and white, below are some photos of the progress with the first one showing where I got the idea to convert into black and white from.
