Wassily Kandinsky -

Geometric abstract expressionist from Russia 1866-1944

Believed in form alone to connect with the viewer without natural influences or metaphorical reasons.

His work mainly focuses on colours and shapes, each painting has so much to look at and is bursting with life, movement and colour, a lot of his work reminds me of machinery parts and clock work pieces, his work is highly aesthetically pleasing and the composition is admirable,

Below is some of his work going in order 'Several circles 1926', 'Composition V11 1913' and 'Composition V111 1923'
