After getting my results for the last semester at University Ive decided to take a brand new path in my work, I feel like Ive gotten everything I can from the De Stijil movement, primary colours and triangles however abstraction and geometric forms may still appear in my work since its what I enjoy, Ive decided to have a look at flowers one of my great passions is sketching flowers and I want to combine this with geometry.

Before I can move onto this project properly I wanted to experiment with some electricians tape I had bought, beautiful bold bright colours I thought I could make something pleasing with them.

I did a few collages and drawings and realised I really liked the idea of combining realistic drawings with the bold colours of the neat straight lines of the tape, below are some examples of what I came up with, I really enjoyed the outcome especially the rose drawing ontop of the tape.
