Since I enjoyed the freedom and outcome of the first purple flower piece I did of the Verbena I decided to look into other coloured flowers so I could recreate another coloured theme piece of geometric abstraction with an organic twist.

I was interested in green roses as usually you associate roses with red or pink so I started on a new piece of paper which was sadly just a scrap sheet but just as tall as the last piece yet thinner, a bit scrappy but It looked well with the unfinished paint and just shows the idea of what I wanted.

I didn't do as many horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines in the background since it was a smaller piece.

Im very happy with the outcome and will probably make another but moving forward into different media.
